The Sisk Team

Thomas J. Sisk, Jr. provides overall direction and management to Sisk & Co. and its major clients. Tom graduated from Dartmouth College in 1973 and began his insurance career with Van Schaack Insurance Agency in 1974. At that time Van Schaack was the largest independent agency in the Mountain States. In 1975, he joined national insurance broker Bayly, Martin & Fay. Tom formed Sisk & Co. in 1980 and continues to provide insurance brokerage and risk management services throughout the Rocky Mountain Region.

Tom has extensive knowledge of the risk management field. He has formed two association programs that allow members access to workers' compensation coverage and risk management and safety programs. These programs have been extremely successful in lowering the loss ratio and administrative costs associated with workers' compensation. Email Tom.

Todd Heiserman, Managing Director, has over 20 years of experience covering the areas of employee benefits, retirement plans and workers compensation programs. Prior to joining Sisk & Co. in 1998, Todd worked for a national consulting firm and a national insurance carrier. Todd works closely with our clients in the areas of benefit planning and program management. He has set up association benefit programs and actively works with associations in building and implementing workers compensation and loss control programs. He served as director of the Automobile Service Association - Colorado (ASA) benefit program and was the lead underwriter for the Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry (CACI) medical plan.

He is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a BS in Business Administration. He holds the designations of Registered Employee Benefit Consultant (REBC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM). Email Todd.

Mike Eastop joined Sisk & Co. in 2004 as a Senior Account Executive. He graduated from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio with a B.S. degree in Education. Mike spent 15 years in sales, safety and risk management in the trucking and transportation field prior to entering the insurance industry. He has spent the last 20 years gaining experience working for the insurance companies and with large, national insurance brokers specializing in transportation, commercial automobile exposures and workers' compensation.

With experience from the buyer's position as a risk manager, with the insurance company as a sales manager, and insurance brokerage side as an Account Executive, Mike brings a unique perspective when working with his clientele. The relationships with current and new Sisk & Co. clients have developed into "partnerships" with the protection of company assets as the primary objective while negotiating the most favorable terms and conditions as the cornerstone. Dave Tacha is an Account Executive who joined Sisk in 2004. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a BS in Business Administration. Prior to joining Sisk, Dave was an Account Executive with CEK Insurance in Lawrence, Kansas. He also worked for Qwest Communications as a Marketing Manager in the consumer markets division. Through Dave’s professional experience he brings a wealth of commercial consumer knowledge and expertise. Email Dave.

Dan Klimek is Loss Control and Safety Manager for Thomas J. Sisk & Company. He is responsible for providing loss control and claims management services for our clients. Dan is a degreed safety professional with over 27 years of experience implementing safety and loss control programs, working with government regulations, implementing change and managing people and projects. He has worked with many segments of industry including: surface and underground mining, electric utilities, construction, environmental compliance / cleanup activities, and abatement of hazardous materials. Dan understands that each business owner has their own way they want to do things, so he works with clients to help them develop solutions that meet their goals for reducing injuries and controlling losses.
